It was awesome! It came just in for my 6 day trip half way down the Baja peninsula. Your enclosure kept me coms on point!
Great customer service! Air shipped the MM3 for I would have it for my trip.
The product is made very well and it also looks Good. It does a very good job protecting your Starlink .
Made extremely well with a quality barrel connector that makes a tight, solid connection, high visibility power indicator, heavy duty cable and well fitting plug into Starlink unit. i expect this will last decades. Thank you!
Everything it is perfect.
We installed the SatGear MM6 Starlink Mini Vertical Surface Mount on our 5th-gen Ram 3500, and our Starlink stays mounted on the truck 24/7, 365 days a year.
We tow, travel, work around the ranch, spend time off-grid in Northern Arizona, and rely heavily on Starlink wherever we go. Because of that, we needed a mounting system that could become a permanent part of the truck—not something we had to set up and tear down every time we wanted internet.
The MM6 has been a perfect fit for that.
The mount feels extremely solid, the Starlink Mini sits securely, and the entire setup looks clean and purpose-built on the Ram. It doesn’t look like an aftermarket piece we threw together—it looks like it belongs on the truck.
One of our favorite features is the electric automatic suction cups. They make attaching the system incredibly simple while still giving us the confidence to keep our Starlink mounted full-time. The system is so easy to use that even our kids can help mount the dish.
That says a lot about how simple and well thought out the design is.
For our family, Starlink isn’t something that gets pulled out of a storage compartment when we reach camp. It is part of the truck and stays ready to go every single day of the year.
Whether we're towing, exploring Northern Arizona, working around Stewart's Ranch, or traveling somewhere with little to no cell coverage, our internet is already mounted and ready.
SatGear is a sponsor of Stewart's Ranch, but we only recommend products we actually use. The MM6 lives on our Ram 3500 24/7/365, and that is probably the best endorsement we can give it.
If you use a Starlink Mini on a work truck, tow rig, RV, overland build, or off-grid vehicle and want a clean, secure setup you can leave mounted full-time, the SatGear MM6 is absolutely worth checking out.

Very simple to assemble and mount to my 35" spare tire on my Jeep. Signal is great and makes it very convenient while on the trails and at camp.
Base perfecta me encanto
Pretty good mount for the Starlink mini. It works good while driving. I got the 10ft cable to move the mount to the rear cleat mount since I put stuff in the bed of the truck and it is out the way. If you’re on the fence about getting the mount it’s a good solution instead of getting a third brake light Starlink mount.
The SM2 Mini mount is great! It’s well built and I like that it’s very low profile (with the magnets at least, haven’t tried the suction cups yet) and very simple to put together.
The only thing that would make the SM2 is if the magnets were adjustable side to side as only about 1/2-3/4 of the magnet surface on both sides are making contact with the roof on my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD because the roof ridges are too far apart.
I would definitely recommend this mount!!
Thank you so much for the great review! We're glad to hear you're enjoying your SM2!
We actually designed the SM2 so the magnets can be adjusted side to side for situations exactly like yours. Next to each of the standard threaded magnet mounting holes, you'll notice an elongated adjustment slot. Instead of threading the magnet directly into the standard hole, you can position the magnet through the adjacent slot and secure it with a nut on the opposite side. This allows you to slide and position each magnet side to side so they can better align with the ridges or ribs on your vehicle's roof.
This should allow you to adjust the magnets for better surface contact on your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. We hope this helps, and thank you again for recommending the SM2!
Upon viewing different ways to mount my Starlink. I caught an Instagram post with this item. Once I choked down my drink seeing their prices, I read through about the electric suction cups and decided to mortgage the house and place my order. Here’s my take. I live by the “cheap stuff ain’t good” and “good stuff ain’t cheap” saying. In my opinion their items are a bit overkill, but I love that! Im not sure if this set up has an advertised speed rating, but I can report consistently touching my speed limiter @ 98mph (GMC) and driving through a monsoon that was moving the truck around pretty well at 75-80mph. I was positive it would get pulled off by a wind gust, and loe and behold, it didn’t budge. Now I’m so confident in the robustness of their product, if I ever needed to pull a skier, I’d clip it to the mount (do not attempt, I am a professional something). Thanks Satgear for a product that “Sucks” to the window like nothing I’ve ever seen. Had it fallen off, that mount would have saved the Starlink in my humble opinion.
very secured! Gonna be running it on a D8 dozer.
Nice unit. Doesn’t work on mydimple fiberglass roof onmy RV, but well made.
