Important: U-Brackets Required for VSM Standalone Use

To use the VSM and MM1 outside of the Ford bed mount system (MM6-style setup), you must select the optional U-brackets in the product options.

The U-brackets are required because they:

• Attach suction cups or magnets to the VSM
• Allow for hard-mount installation if desired
• Enable full vertical surface mounting functionality

Without the U-brackets, the VSM cannot be used as a standalone mounting system.
