Very simple to assemble and mount to my 35" spare tire on my Jeep. Signal is great and makes it very convenient while on the trails and at camp.

Pretty good mount for the Starlink mini. It works good while driving. I got the 10ft cable to move the mount to the rear cleat mount since I put stuff in the bed of the truck and it is out the way. If you’re on the fence about getting the mount it’s a good solution instead of getting a third brake light Starlink mount.
The SM2 Mini mount is great! It’s well built and I like that it’s very low profile (with the magnets at least, haven’t tried the suction cups yet) and very simple to put together.
The only thing that would make the SM2 is if the magnets were adjustable side to side as only about 1/2-3/4 of the magnet surface on both sides are making contact with the roof on my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD because the roof ridges are too far apart.

We actually designed the SM2 so the magnets can be adjusted side to side for situations exactly like yours. Next to each of the standard threaded magnet mounting holes, you'll notice an elongated adjustment slot. Instead of threading the magnet directly into the standard hole, you can position the magnet through the adjacent slot and secure it with a nut on the opposite side. This allows you to slide and position each magnet side to side so they can better align with the ridges or ribs on your vehicle's roof.
This should allow you to adjust the magnets for better surface contact on your 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. We hope this helps, and thank you again for recommending the SM2!
Upon viewing different ways to mount my Starlink. I caught an Instagram post with this item. Once I choked down my drink seeing their prices, I read through about the electric suction cups and decided to mortgage the house and place my order. Here’s my take. I live by the “cheap stuff ain’t good” and “good stuff ain’t cheap” saying. In my opinion their items are a bit overkill, but I love that! Im not sure if this set up has an advertised speed rating, but I can report consistently touching my speed limiter @ 98mph (GMC) and driving through a monsoon that was moving the truck around pretty well at 75-80mph. I was positive it would get pulled off by a wind gust, and loe and behold, it didn’t budge. Now I’m so confident in the robustness of their product, if I ever needed to pull a skier, I’d clip it to the mount (do not attempt, I am a professional something). Thanks Satgear for a product that “Sucks” to the window like nothing I’ve ever seen. Had it fallen off, that mount would have saved the Starlink in my humble opinion.

very good quality mount. I got both the suction cups and magnetic mounts so I could use it in multiple rigs. This mount will also let me add some extenders to mount in my trailer looking through the skylight. Over all, the best mount I could find.
I haven’t been able to use it much but so far it works great easy to assemble and easy to use I like the lightweight aluminum design.
