The SatGear MM9 is a complete protective headache rack mounting solution designed to securely install your Starlink Mini on pickup trucks, work trucks, fleet vehicles, and other vehicles equipped with a headache rack. The MM9 combines the fully enclosed SatGear MM1 Protective Mount with an adjustable headache rack mounting system for a strong, clean, and secure installation.
Fully Enclosed Starlink Mini Protection
At the core of the MM9 is the SatGear MM1 Protective Mount, constructed from high-strength aluminum with a durable signal-transparent polycarbonate top cover.
The Starlink Mini is fully enclosed within the aluminum housing, while the polycarbonate cover protects the exposed surface of the dish from scratches, debris, and impact without interfering with satellite connectivity.
Designed for Headache Rack Mounting
The MM9 includes two heavy-duty brackets that attach directly to the top of your truck's existing headache rack.
The adjustable bracket system accommodates headache rack rails from 2 inches up to 3.25 inches wide. The brackets are secured to the headache rack using six included self-tapping screws for a strong and stable installation.
Keeps Your Truck Bed Completely Unobstructed
The MM9 was specifically designed to position the Starlink Mini forward over the cab instead of extending backward over the truck bed.
This keeps the bed area unobstructed, allowing you to carry stacked pallets, equipment, tools, building materials, or other tall cargo without your Starlink Mini interfering with usable cargo space.
Permanent or Quick-Release Setup
The MM9 comes standard with Allen screws for a secure, semi-permanent installation. For customers who want to easily remove their Starlink Mini, optional thumb screws can be selected from the drop-down menu below.
With the thumb screw option, simply remove four thumb screws to detach the MM1 Protective Mount from the headache rack brackets — no tools required.
Once removed, the same MM1 can be used with other SatGear mounting systems. Mount it to another vehicle using magnets or suction cups, attach it to a VSM Vertical Surface Mount, install it on an MM7 Ford Bed Mount, or use it with an MM8 Spare Tire Mount.
